Members of the Friends met with Matron Harriet, Midwives Hope & Su, Therapy Assistant, Alex and MCA Emma… Seen here demonstrating how to use the equipment.
They explained that many ladies…. both pre and post childbirth will benefit from being able to use the standing aid – which enables a dignified patient transfer between bed and chair, bed to bathroom etc. where sometimes ladies have mobility issues or post-surgery weakness. It was a pleasure to visit the department and see the Sara Steady in action!
