If the answer is yes, then why not join The Friends at Broomfield Hospital?
People of any age and from all walks of life can be a volunteer with the Friends and it need not be a huge commitment, just a few hours on a regular basis will be greatly appreciated. By becoming a volunteer with the Friends you will be part of a dedicated team making a vast difference to the lives of patients and visitors.
Our volunteers carry out various roles and all our volunteers are a valued and well recognised part of the hospital scene.
The Friends are dedicated to improving facilities for patients. visitors and staff at Broomfield Hospital. The donations we have been able to give have funded a vast range of medical equipment and have helped pay for projects such as garden areas for patients and visitors.
“We’re really lucky to have such a terrific team of volunteers. The work is rewarded by what it achieves for all the patients and on top of that we all really enjoy what we do.” Barbara Coupe
